For our project, we chose to work with Gentle Ben's Brewing Company. As many people know, Gentle Ben's is a restaurant and bar on University Blvd. on campus. Currently, they are having trouble with the rotation of servers and seating, since they have an upstairs, downstairs, and outdoor patio area. They are also lacking a way to collect data on their consumers. We plan to help them by implementing a software system that will track seating arrangements, while also collecting consumer data. The program will document things such as what items on the menu are most and least popular, according to how often they are ordered. This product will hopefully allow our client's business to run in an overall more efficient way and provide better quality customer service.
